Marketing Manager
£50,000 to £55,000 Basic salary Plus Bens
Birmingham
Our client an innovative business has a history spanning over for over 80 years and has taken the industry by a storm with their products.
What we are looking for:
- Minimum 5 years experience as a marketing manager ideally in a product related sector.
- Marketing degree or related.
- Knowledge of WordPress, paid advertising, Google Ads (previously AdWords) & Google Analytics or similar platforms
- Knowledge of SEO optimisation
- Commercially astute, defining and monitoring measures of commercial success and responding to market trends.
- An analytical brain understanding statistical information is a key element of this role and the person will be expected to report and deliver departmental reports, finding answers in the data on a monthly / weekly basis
- Practical handson approach to working.
- Experience in challenging the norm and being a role model for marketing excellence.
Main Duties
- Develop and implement Marketing Strategies on behalf of the 4 revenue generating areas of the business.
- Take ownership of brand management and corporate identity
- Create and manage marketing campaigns aligned to wider sales activities.
- Create Content all marketing related collateral (online and offline).
- Using analytical insight, identify ways in which customer experience can be improved.
- Manage the planning and implementation of promotional campaigns and lead generation.
- Ensure all marketing activities are carried out within the requirements of GDPR Regulations.
- Be the marketing and customer voice within the business which will involve working collaboratively with other teams within the business
- Continue to develop internal communication initiatives including but not limited to; employee engagement and employee retention.
- Manage external supplier / stakeholder relationships, such as 3rd party agencies to ensure the successful and cost
- To record and report key performance information as deemed necessary or requested.
- Work with all other Departments of the Company to maximise harmony in working relationships and practices;
- Always seek to increase knowledge about the business the Company carries out.
- To attend and actively participate in any training, on site or off as reasonably requested by the company.
- Carry out any other duties which the Company feels you are capable, e.g. supporting other staff positions either day to day or in holiday/absence situations;
