Main duties of the job Lead and support technology-enabled process change work to improve processes used in Pharmacy to support safety quality and efficiency of systems used to support patient care.

Support or lead on technological developments to support service development and delivery and enable and improve processes related to medicines.

Work closely with Trust IT and IT Information officers network to ensure services are aligned and complementary.

Provide the key link for IT developments to deliver EPR and EPMA technological solution.

Work closely with the relevant speciality pharmacists /pharmacy staff to guide and support changing patient pathways and effective utilisation of technology as appropriate.

Ensure Pharmacy informatics complies with medicines legislation, other legislation, guidance and carry out risk assessments and mitigations as appropriate
