A local school in Whitehaven is looking for numerous part-time and full-time Teaching Assistants to join them from September. The roles may be between KS1/KS2 classes working 1:1 and supporting small groups.


The children being supported have significant SEND needs and require someone qualified, dedicated and with relevant knowledge surrounding SEND needs.


Requirements:


  • Relevant qualifications and experience in working within education
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and connect with young learners
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, as well as independently
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of the children
