Allerton Park Care Centre is seeking a part time care home administrator.


MAIN PURPOSE

  • To provide assistance and administrative support to the Home Manager and their teams.

REQUIREMENTS:


  • Full driving licence.
  • Flexibility within agreed hours.

  • The ability to sympathise and manage difficult calls or enquiries
  • To demonstrate clear and concise communication skills.
  • To demonstrate excellent organisational skills.
  • To demonstrate good interaction within a team.
  • Ability to demonstrate shorthand skills would be an advantage.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Dealing with telephone enquires.
  • Managing incoming and outgoing post.
  • Maintain a complete and fully reconciled petty cash book
  • Fully communicate to Customer Accounts at Head Office all matters in relation to finance with new and existing Service Users.
  • Checking and processing payments forms from Social Services.
  • Typing correspondence and reports.
  • Checking supplier's invoices and delivery notes.
  • Ordering of food and groceries/provisions.
  • Liaising with HO Accounts and dealing with payroll queries from staff members on a monthly basis.
  • Updating of notice boards/activities programmes.
  • General maintenance of the nursing home with handymen, ensuring that the solutions implemented are the most cost effective.
  • Record and keep safe Service User's pocket monies in the safe.
  • Show round prospective Service Users and record enquires and maintain a full and happy home.

Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent


Salary:
£9.50 per hour
