Description
Our client manufactures and installs high integrity, RCC-M nuclear standard stainless steel and titanium components as well as thermal insulation systems and are supplying Hinkley Point C with several large stainless steel pond/pool liners, tanks and vessels.
They're looking for a Project Engineer to join the team on site and contribute directly to the success of the project.
Summary
Plans, monitors and manages internal projects from initiation through to completion.
Directs, coordinates and exercises functional authority for planning, organization, control, integration and completion of engineering project within area of assigned responsibilityby performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.
Ensure projects are completed on time, within budgets and to required quality standards, whilst building and maintaining strong client relationships.
Experience
- Competent with managing timescales and cost budgets
- Understanding of proposals, supplier selection, preparation of specifications and quotation analysis
- Previous experience within a project engineering/management background
- Experienced in manmanagement
Qualifications
- Engineering Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, or relevant Engineering discipline preferred, or qualified by experience
- Technical HNC/ONC Qualified minimum.
- Prince 2 or other recognised project management qualification preferred
Work will be on a 10 on 4 off rotation and based on a 12 hour shift pattern.
