Job description:
Our client, based in Leicestershire
, is currently recruiting for a Community Safety Officer on a temporary contract for two months.
Our client is able to offer agile working of 2 days at home, and 3 days out on patch and in the office.
Duties will include (but not limited to):
- Working in the Community Safety team in tackling anti-social behavior and supporting victims of crime
- Work in partnership with the police and other agencies to investigate and manage antisocial behavior reports
- Ensure victims are updated on progress and conclusions
- Using the organizations case management system to identify risk
- Issue warning letters, acceptable behavior contracts and antisocial behavior injunctions
- To engage with and raise awareness within, communities (including schools, volunteers, community groups or parish councils) to tackle local community safety issue
- To advise the organization on changes to legislation, regulations, policy and strategy developments and produce guidelines/briefings where appropriate and to advise on implication
Experience required:
- Standard DBS dated within the last 3 years
- Dealt directly with ASB on a patch of properties
- Experience of implementing policies in a local area
- Car essential
Working hours
- 37 hours per week
- Monday
- Friday 9am5pm
