Job Purpose
The Consents Administrator is responsible for supporting and assisting the Consents Officer with the administrative delivery of their caseload whilst delivering excellent client care and ensuring a positive result for our Clients and Thomson Broadbent.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring compliance with RICS and other regulatory requirements/cases will be periodically audited at random to monitor compliance.
- Opening, sorting, scanning and processing the daily inbound and outbound posts on a rotational basis, including ensuring that the CRM system Is updated to the correct workflow steps etc.
- Completion of data entry and acknowledgement of all new instructions within the work area and assisting others in their work area as required.
- Confirming the eligibility of all new instructions, ensuring that all the relevant documentation to evidence eligibility is secured from the client (or other sources such as the Land Registry as appropriate) to enable the submission of the case.
- Actively communicating and liaising with clients where additional outstanding information or documentation is required from them.
- Escalating any complex cases or queries to the responsible consent officer as required.
- Confirming the eligibility of all new instructions, ensuring that all the relevant documentation to evidence eligibility is secured from the client (or other sources such as the Land Registry as appropriate) to enable the submission of the case.
- Actively communicating and liaising with clients where additional outstanding information or documentation is required from them.
- Submitting low and highvoltage cases by company standards and Distribution Network Operator ("DNO") requirements to ensure that each case is accepted as valid.
- Liaising with the Consents Officer, highlighting where cases have been submitted and outstanding with the DNO, to work towards the efficient throughput of offers by the DNO.
- Checking Wayleave agreements for accuracy and advising clients on the cause and effect of the agreement. Issuing Notices to Remove if necessary.
- Sending completion letters upon full payment of fees.
Hours of Work
37.5 hours per week
Skills and Competencies Required
- Educated to degree level (or equivalent experience) is preferred
- Experience in Case Management is highly advantageous
- Experience working in a regulated environment (preferred).
- Organisation skills and a proactive attitude
- High standard of client service
- Attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with data entry and verification
- Sound judgement
- Proficient experience with Microsoft Office 365
Job Types:

Salary:
£22,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
