Residential AV Engineer
Location - London
Package - £30,000 - £45,000 + Overtime + Progression opportunities
Alecto Recruitment are working with one of the UK's leading Audio Visual Company's, with over 20 years' experience in assisting its customers.
During those 20 years they have Installed and Serviced thousands of High end Residential properties in the UK,predominantly in and around the South East but will cover further afield as business dictates.
Due to the continued success and growth of the company are seeking to bring in an experienced Engineer with a proven track record in the Audio-Visual industry lookingfor a career move.
Their Installation Engineers work on AV installation projects either as part of a team of engineers or in an individual capacity, reporting to the relevant Project Manager.
You need to be able to communicate directly with clients and their representatives,to help deliver the project to a high-quality conclusion.
The majority of the work will be in the Southeast of England but there can be a requirement to work away from home as their customer base can extend across the UK, and into Europe.
You will be expectedto present yourself in a professional manner at all times, with smart appearance in company uniform where applicable and keep your vehicle, tools and equipment to a level and condition that will enable you to fully complete your assigned tasks.
Main Responsibilities
1) Perform hands on installation work and supervise other employed and contracted engineers in all aspects of AV System and Home Automation installation within the budgeted time and to a high standard including:
- Display equipment
- Multiroom distribution
- Crestron and Lutron hardware installation
- Light dimming systems
- Home Cinema
- Security
- Cable management and making of all standard AV / IT connectors
- Equipment mounting, fixing and cable running
- Rack installation
- Fault finding and commissioning
3) Maintain your own records showing details of work done and related job reference, and working with the Technical Support Manager to keep an accurate future works calendar
4) Ensure that all company policies and procedures are followed at all times.
5) Maintain high standard of appearance and wear safety clothing provided.
6) Maintain an up to date knowledge of technical information.
