We are seeking a RMNs at Band 5 to assume the role of Clinical Team Leader on 4 of our Acute Wards at St.

Charles.
- based, leading the team to provide high-quality mental health care and to support and develop our nursing and MDT. You will be required to provide meaningful and robust supervision with staff and to work towards undertaking annual appraisals - this will include providing support during preceptorship.


Applicants should be a Registerd Mental Health Nurse with at lease 18-24 months post registration experience, and should have completed a precetorship programme as a Band 5 nurse.


As a Clinical Team Lead, you will be responsible for supporting the Ward manager to lead a dedicated team of registered and unregistered staff by having an active role in developing, monitoring and maintaining care standards; through role modelling, clear decision making and demonstrating your highly developed clinical skills.


You will enjoy working collaboratively with service users, their families and carers and community based services to develop person centred care plans that are based on principals of the recovery model.


The posts require applicants to be able to work all shifts including night duty and adopting the "Bleep Holder Role" as required.

The CTL posts are for the 4 acute wards at St. Charles Mental Health Centre, which is based in the Ladbroke Grove area of Kensington and Chelsea. This is a secondment for a period of 6 months initially. We are seeking individuals who are friendly, approachable, compassionate and motivated with good communication skills.

The post holders will also take up the responsibility of being the Unit/Site Coordinator at least four times a month.

You will provide unite management support and co-ordinate and facilitate patient flow (bed management) out of hours.

In addition, the unit co-ordinator will provide senior nursing support, professional leadership and advice to all clinical areas within the unit, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

We provide, and supervise the delivery of high standards of nursing care to patients in accordance with up-to-date evidence based professional practice.


We work together as part of a supportive nursing structure in developing and implementing assessments, treatments and recovery focused care for patients.

You will receive ongoing support from your peers, nurses, clinical team leaders and other members of the MDT. You will also receive individual supervision as well as support in reflective practice groups.
