Tradewind are currently looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant to support children with additional needs in of our lovely schools in Whalley Range.

This full-time position is to start as soon as possible and set to run until the end of the academic year.


Details of the role:

You will be supporting one individual child, on a 1:1 basis. Your responsibilities will be supporting the child with their behavior, social integration, and academic work.

You will work as a team with the class teacher and other professionals in the schoolto support progress and emotional wellbeing.

The child has moderate learning difficulties and speech and language delay. Having experience working with similar children would be beneficial.


Your day-to-day could include:


  • Support an individual child with their behavior and emotional development
  • Assisting an individual child with their academic work
  • Working with other staff members to discuss progress and adapt learning


Our market leading rates or pay range between £ per day depending on the role and your level of experience.

  • Have school-based experience
  • Ideally have experience supporting children with SEND
