ROLE:
Finance Manager


SALARY:
£35,000 - £40,000 PA.


HOURS:40 hours per week with flexibility in working hours. Our usual working day is 09:00 - 17:30 however when the going gets tough, we get pizza and beers, and the work continues. Many of our roles have some home working, this role isno different, however, we know we all work better when we are together so would need to see your face throughout the week in our Cirencester office.

Our beautiful Cirencester Office (Bank House, 15 Gosditch St, Cirencester, Gloucestershire, GL7 2AG), with the occasional trip to our

HQ in London Bridge.

OUR ELEVATOR PITCH


We are a young dynamic business that has a turnover of £3million, we are looking for a super organised Finance Manager to head up this department.

Being the glue in our business you, and (eventually) your small team will sit between the Business DevelopmentTeam (the sellers) and the Operation Team (the doers).

Your first responsibility will be delivering exceptional financial processes working with suppliers, clients and a variety of our stakeholders, the opportunities of future personal growth within this roleis endless.


You'll need an awesome eye for detail, a passion for ensuring our clients are delighted and an appetite for working in a small business with a big heart.


THE NITTY GRITTY:


  • Monitor income and expenditure using Quickbooks & Xero.
  • Raise invoices and ensure income due is received on time and debtors are chased.
  • Ensure all selfemployed Mystery Shoppers are paid on the 15th of each month.
  • Monthly bank reconciliation.
  • Complete the administration of the monthly payroll, workplace pensions
  • VAT returns.
  • Comply with other statutory duties including submissions to Companies House
  • Support the part time FD to produce draft monthly management accounts including P&L, cash flow forecast and balance sheet
  • Report on key performance indicators on a weekly basis to the MD of Proinsight

YOUR SUPERHERO STRENGHTS

  • A flexible "can do" attitude with the ability to work as a member of a small but growing team.
  • Qualified ACCA/ACA
  • Good experience using accounting software packages, in particular Quickbooks, Xero, & Moneysoft,
  • It would be awesome if you had experience of HSBCnet & Natwest Bankline.
  • Broad experience of all areas of finance management to include VAT, payroll, banking.
  • Good administrative skills including Excel and MS Word
