The Role Objective


GroupM Talent Team was set up to drive employer brand excellence and proactively attract and engage the best, and most diverse, talent for our group of companies.

The team manages the recruitment lifecycle effectively and efficiently across GroupM Nexus, EssenceMediaCom, Mindshare, Wavemaker, m/SIX and GroupM central business units (i.e. Xaxis, Finecast etc.).

Day to Day Responsibilities

  • You will drive process as we move from loosely defined, to quantitatively managed and optimized and make sure we always have a focus on best practice.
  • Hold regular one to ones with your direct reports, as well as conducting yearly appraisals and goal setting objectives.
  • You will also have an element of business partnering responsibilities with one of our Media Agencies, which will involve working with them on their EVP, resource planning and acting as a true partner to facilitate their hiring plans.
  • Foster a safe, nurturing, and collaborative environment which allows for continual development for your team.
  • You will set and maintain the team's performance agenda through clear, achievable metrics and continually look to develop and streamline recruitment processes.
  • You will work with the Talent Delivery Partner to ensure we deliver an industry leading service to our internal stakeholders.
  • As well as handling a requisition load, which will vary, depending on the capacity of the team.
  • Ensure your team are consistently developing diverse talent pools within your vertical specialism with D&I at the heart how we operate.
  • Support the Talent Delivery Partner, agency HR & Finance with communication of changing priorities to talent acquisition.
  • Work with the Talent Business Partners when new business is won to ensure delivery of quality talent in line with set timelines.
  • Assist in developing and forming our new Internal Sourcing function.
  • Ensuring high standards of data integrity across our ATS (Jobvite), support in developing QBRs and reports for agency management teams.
  • Work with the Talent Delivery Partner to communicate capacity/ demand needs across the business within your vertical specialism.
  • Work with the Talent Delivery Partner to ensure high adoption of and support of Jobvite ATS across your own team in order to product accurate and meaningful weekly operational reporting.
  • Involvement yourself and encouragement of your team in additional team projects, eg SME, D&I, Sourcing channels.
  • Retain all top performers in the recruiting team and manage nonperformance judiciously.
  • Ensure you have a robust succession plan in place for yourself, and for your team
Skills, Behaviours and Attributes

  • Proven experience of leading and developing an experienced Talent team in a complex and demanding environment, digital media industry experience is an advantage.
  • Experience of operating in a complex, ambiguous and highvolume structure.
  • A great facilitator with a strong customer service stance and a passion for developing high performing teams.
  • Passion for recruiting operations, process executing, and data driven performance management.
  • An ability to be resilient, manage change and stay enthusiastic.
  • Process improvement experience.
  • Exposure to business partnering and solution forming activities.
  • Skills in PowerPoint, Excel, PowerBI a definite plus.
  • Experience of working with a ATS Platform, ideally Jobvite.
  • Experience of setting performance metrics for your team.
