Premier Work Support have fantastic and exciting opportunities for permanent
Cargo Office Operatives for one of our prestigious clients based in Heathrow.

The purpose of this role will be to provide and maintain a high level of customer service for Cargo Operations in line with company and airline requirements.

Some of the duties and responsibilities consist of:

Process drivers on the cargo reception who may be delivering and/or collecting cargo.
Using designated software and appropriate paperwork to correctly process import and export shipments and cargo in accordance with company, customs, and CAA regulations.
Use designated software to build and depart export flights and road freight trucks.
To communicate both verbally and electronically accurate cargo flight figures to Load Control for flight planning.
To check Dangerous Goods shipments as per the current DGR (full training provided).
To be adaptable in your approach to work.

Skills and experience required:

ABS working knowledge desirable.
The ability to work on own initiative, often under pressure.
Positive attitude to rapid changing environment.
Selfmotivated and good team player.
Good customer service skills both on the telephone and in person.
Good written and verbal communication skills being able to provide clear and accurate figures and information to other departments and customers.
Computer competency.

You will have good communication skills, follow all processes & procedures carefully and work as part of the team in this fast paced environment.

Complying with all relevant legislation as well as stringent airport authority and carrier security requirements is essential.

Depending on experience, the salary ranges from £23,800 to £25,400 per annum.

Working on a 4-on-4-off shift pattern, 07:00 -19:00 and 19:00 - 07:00, on a permanent basis.
