'''Duties:

Set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments
Interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpieces
Select the appropriate tools, machines, and materials to be used in preparation for machining operations
Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process to ensure accuracy and quality of the finished product
Inspect finished workpieces for defects and make any necessary adjustments or repairs
Maintain a clean and organized work area

Skills:

Proficient in operating various types of machine tools, such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders
Strong understanding of blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications
Excellent problemsolving skills to troubleshoot issues with machines or workpieces
Attention to detail to ensure precision and accuracy in machining operations
Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and supervisors

Please note that experience in warehouse or sewing is not relevant to the role of a Machinist.'''
