Responsibilities:

Greet and seat customers in a friendly and professional manner
Take food and drink orders accurately and promptly
Provide menu recommendations and answer customer questions about the dishes
Upsell additional items, such as appetizers, desserts, or specialty drinks
Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner
Ensure customer satisfaction by checking on them throughout their meal
Process customer payments and handle cash transactions
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and timely delivery
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area

Skills:

Excellent hospitality skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
Basic math skills for handling payments and making change
Knowledge of culinary terms and familiarity with different types of cuisine
Understanding of food safety regulations and proper handling procedures
Ability to upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience for customers
Proficient in time management to prioritize tasks during busy periods
Effective communication skills to interact with customers, kitchen staff, and other team members
