Description
Our client has a new and exciting opportunity for a full time AAT apprentice to join their office based in Kettering.
This is a perfect opportunity for someone with a keen ambition to start a career in accounting within a Charted Accountants.
The firm's clients cover a range of sizes, from sole traders to large company groups, operating in a wide range of sectors including construction, consultancy, estate agencies, finance, health, legal, manufacturing and marketing.
Key responsibilities:
- Analysing client data using Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as Xero, SAGE, and QuickBooks.
- Complete bookkeeping and VAT tasks as required.
- Preparation of accounts for sole traders, limited companies, and partnerships.
- Assisting with the computation of personal and corporate tax returns.
- Input to IRIS accounting software.
- Office administration.
- Assisting more senior staff members as required.
Person specification:
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Be conscientious, organised, and able to prioritise work.

Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm with 1 hour for lunch. One day you have the option to study away from the office if you would like to.
