Project Worker - Part Time

Studfield Court - Sheffield

£10.95

22.5 hours per week - shifts to cover 7 days

We have a great opportunity for an experienced Project Worker with passion and drive to provide support, enabling our residents with a range of complex needs to achieve their potential and live more independently within their community.

Studfield Court has eight fully furnished, self-contained flats and provides supported accommodation for adults with learning disabilities, who have low to medium support needs.

The scheme is situated in a quiet residential area close to local amenities and has excellent public transport links.

You will use your skills to work with colleagues and partner agencies to achieve the best outcome for our residents.

The role of Project Worker will include:

  • Regular key working and support planning sessions
  • Supporting residents by developing their day to day living skills such as: budgeting, dealing with correspondence, cooking and cleaning
  • Supporting residents to build confidence, resilience and selfesteem
  • Working with statutory and nonstatutory agencies on behalf of the residents, actively encouraging choice and involvement, or acting as an advocate when required
  • Assisting tenants in resolving or preventing housing debts to help them make timely payments
  • Managing housing benefits and offering advice that helps residents to fulfil tenancy conditions

Skills and experiences:


  • Experience of working with people who have experienced issues around substance misuse with offending behavior
  • A sound knowledge of housing management including voids and arrears management, and an understanding of occupancy agreements
  • The ability to work on your own initiative as you will be required to source innovative solutions to problems that allow residents' independence to be enhanced
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel or similar
