Teaching Assistant

Greenwich

January Start

We are working with a wonderful two-form primary school in Greenwich, rated as "Good" by Ofsted, that is currently looking for a Teaching Assistant to start in January.

This is a part-time position that will run to the end of the 2023 academic year.

The school lies in the heart of the Royal Borough of Greenwich close to Royal Greenwich Park, the Cutty Sark and the Maritime Museum.

We ensure that our pupils gain a sense of what being a Londoner means through links with the National Gallery, The HeritageCentre and as a member of the London Schools Gold Club.

The school aims to raise standards and achievement for all children through quality first teaching and a dyslexia friendly environment, in conjunction with understanding the whole child.

Key skills and experience needed to be a teaching assistant:

Strong behaviour management
Onetoone and small group work
Professional manner
Enthusiastic and friendly demeanour
The ability to monitor and record a child's progress
An understanding of safeguarding children
A genuine interest in aiding children's development

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS FOR VERITAS EDUCATION

Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and all employment breaks must be explained
You must have legal right to work in the UK
You must be willing to attend a registration interview
