Duties

• Provide oneonone tutoring sessions to students in need of academic support
• Create engaging and interactive lessons to engage with students of all ages
• Monitor and track students' progress, providing feedback and encouragement
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to student success

Experience

• Grade 8 drums or higher preferred
• Excellent drum score reading
• Previous experience in educating or tutoring children is preferred
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Knowledge of special education practices and techniques is a plus
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the individual needs of each student
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students succeed
• Great team work

As a Tutor, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on students' academic journey.

You will work closely with students, providing them with the guidance and support they need to excel in their studies.

This role requires strong communication skills, as you will be working closely with students, parents, and other professionals.

The Academy works to the Academic year so 13-weeks per year are taken off, with statutory holiday pay provided. All other statutroy benefits including sick leave and opt-in employer pension contributions are included in the contract.
