Procurement Officer - Guildford - Permanent - £30,000 - £45,000

We are recruiting for a Procurement Officer to join them on a permanent basis in Guildford, Surrey.

Responsibilities

Assist with the procurement and negotiation of contractual agreements.
The review and development of procurement approach, specifications, statement of requirements, tender documentation and evaluation methodology.
Support internal and external communication activities with stakeholders
Analyse and report upon procurement activities, including spend, contracts and compliance.
Providing ongoing support and advice in the management of the contracts
Support Category Managers with larger category spends and tender activities
Support the buying function and in the delivery of an efficient end to end procurement service for the Trust.

Requirements:

Experience of contract negotiation
Experience of managing contracts
Strong IT skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
