Part-Time Procurement Administrator

Permanent role

Newly created role due to growth

£14 per hour

20 hours per week - flexibility - ideally 4 hours per day (latest start time of 9.30am)

This part-time role is for a highly successful and well regarded international FMCG company based in Kings Hill to support the close-knit procurement team of 4; the team has excellent longevity and experience (17, 4, 5 and 5 years).

This is a newly created role due to the volume of work.


The successful Part-Time Procurement Administrator will be a highly organised, proactive individual with experience within an FMCG procurement (ideally perishable) role or logistics / transport support role dealing with claims and rejections.


Duties for this Part-Time Procurement Administrator will include, but not be limited to:

  • Claim liaising
  • reporting claims and rejections back to suppliers
  • Attending midmorning team stock meetings to update rejection list
  • Updating vessel arrivals
  • Liaising with the sales support team

The successful Part-Time Procurement Administrator will have / be:

  • Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Excel
  • A proactive, selfstarter
  • Someone who can maintain focus whilst carrying out the same process multiple times
  • A hardworking, team player who enjoys working in a closeknit team
