EMPLOYABILITY SKILLS TUTOR - EAST LONDON - £30,000 pa.

If you are someone who really enjoys giving disadvantaged groups of people real work skills to help them gain sustainable employment, then this role could be for you.

In addition to employability training you'll be delivering training on Customer Service Skills. This training will be designed and delivered with the intention of giving your learners sound capabilities within Customer Service.

Working for an Ofsted Good Grade training provider, you will be working to high standards of delivery and ensuring the experience your learners receive is positive, informative and improves their confidence and self esteem.

You will be instrumental in the design of the training to ensure it is engaging and interesting.

Working closely with the Curriculum Manager you will play a vital role in constantly reviewing the curriculum to ensure it is fit for purpose and always evolving.

It needs to be interesting, engaging and highly informative.

You will also be marking the learners' work and preparing them for tests and examinations.

Accurate administration is an important aspect of this role as you will be responsible for the paperwork for Learner Programme Agreements etc.

This training provider will offer you the chance to improve your teaching, training qualifications to progress to level 5 if you currently hold qualifications below that level.

You will be offered excellent CPD and mentoring to enhance your mentoring and teaching skills.

Essential for the role of Employability & Customer Service Tutor:

A background as an Employability Trainer / Coach / Mentor where you have worked with unemployed and disadvantaged groups of people to help them gain the skills they need to secure sustainable employment.
A minimum of a formal level 3 teaching / training or assessing qualification such as PTLLS, AET or CAVA or A1. You will be offered the change to study for a higher level qualification.
Sound experience of teaching adults.
You must be comfortable work to targets and KPIs.
Overall, you must be passionate about working in this field and giving people a chance to change their lives.
