Full Time Senior Accountant in Practice
Our client is a progressive award-winning firm of Chartered Certified Accountants based in Peterborough.


You will be based in a spacious, light and modern office, with air conditioning, located on a business park so there are no queues getting to work in the morning.

You don't even have to come into the office every day if you choose not to.

That's right, not only did we ditch time sheets in 2004, but you can work what hours you like each day and from wherever you want The choice is yours.

We work great as a team, sharing cakes on birthdays and special occasions. We often do things together, like bowling, escape rooms, and comedy nights. Of course, if you don't want to get involved in these activities, you don't have to.

What you'll be doing:

You'll maintain the standards our team members, customers, and professional body expects.


This will include providing support for team members with training and development, reviewing accounting and tax work, looking after compliance with AML and Practice Assurance procedures and working to help achieve our business goals.

You'll be talking to customers and resolving their problems and be providing proactive accounts and tax advice.


What we think you need to have to do the job:
You'll need to be organised, a lover of accuracy and have good analytical skills.

A liking for systems, processes and procedures to help deliver consistently high results.

A fan of training and development with a growth mindset.


In terms of qualifications, you'll need to be a Chartered Accountant (ACA/ACCA) with three years of post-qualification experience in practice.

Have good technical knowledge of personal tax, preparation of company accounts and corporation tax, with good writtenand oral communication skills.
