We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to create a small team of live in carers to work on a 1 week on and 1 week off or 2 week on and 2 week off rota, with a 2 hour break each day.
As a Caregiver, you will provide essential assistance and support to individuals in their own home, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life.
This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.Duties:
- Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Assist with medication administration and ensure clients take their prescribed medications
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including using assistive devices as needed
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with clients
- Help with meal planning, preparation, and feeding
- Perform housekeeping tasks, to maintain the cleanliness and safe environment of the individuals home, such as laundry, tidying up, hoovering, cleaning bathrooms, keeping kitchen clean etc
- Provide support for clients with dementia or memory loss
- Supporting individuals to look after their pets, including dog walking
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in patient care or senior care is preferred
- First aid certification is a plus
- Ability to administer medications accurately and safely
- Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients
- Ability to manage challenging behaviours with patience and empathy
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation is desirable to complete short shopping trips as and when required, but not essential

Recruitment will involve a telephone interview with the company and then a 1 or 2 hour interview with the client, followed by a trial 48 hour stay with the client to ensure a full compatibility with the client.
Online e-learning and webinar training will be provided as well as on the job training
