You will join their bright and outgoing team,managing the learning and development for their Instrumental and Electrical employees.

Reporting into the L&D Lead you'll be responsiblefor overseeing the company's apprenticeship opportunities and apprentices, the overall management of training and instructional training.

Learning & Development Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Coordinating and maintaining new training, refresher training and authorisations for various personnel, ensuring records are well kept and maintained
- Participating in the development of competency profiles and training records for all relevant job roles
- Maintaining systems/records and providing timely and relevant statistics to facilitate in management planning and decision making
- Ensuring L&D standards are being adhered to by coaching and developing other assessors who are responsible for delivering training
- Overseeing the apprenticeship programmes including recruitment, mentoring and working closely with the providers to effectively carry out in housetraining to support successful completion of courses and qualifications
- Supporting the site induction process and establishing necessary or required training moving forward from a skills gap
- Carrying out team and individual assessments against performance criteria and training requirements
- Being a strong and effective team player by supporting those within the L&D team and assisting in the development of training material as required
Required Skills & Experience:
- Level 3 professional accreditation/qualification in training and development
- Workplace Trainer/Assessor A1/A2 qualification
- Ability to effectively teach and lead training independently
- IT Literate
- Excellent organisation and planning skills with the ability to prioritise to meet agreed schedules and deadlines within a fastpaced and changing environment
- Knowledge and understanding of HSE legislation
- IOSH Working safely certified ideally
