We aim to take the complexity out of dealing with legal matters, in order to do this we try and make the process of dealing with Solicitors and understanding issues as simple as possible.
Role Duties
- Copy daily time sheets for department heads.
- Remind all caseworkers that their client is waiting for them
- Take all files out for department heads a day before.
- Log in post in the incoming post book and attach post to relevant files. ensure incoming post tray is clear at all times.
- Log post in outgoing post book.
- Ensure reception area is kept clean at all times and up to date with stationary and business cards.
- Remind clients about their appointment date and time by texting them via office phone.
- Reception duties & general mannerisms in reception, welcome clients and ask them to take a seat.
- Telephone training: ask clients name; are they a new client or existing? who they wish to speak to and what is it regarding.
- Key dates/note forwards
- Faxing/copying/shredding/scrap
- Basic file content & procedural rules
- Letter writing to courts/authorities/clients etc
- File structures.

Administrative skills, Attention to detail, IT skills, Organisation skills, Team working
Qualifications
GCSE or equivalent English (Grade C/4) Essential
GCSE or equivalent Math (Grade C/4) Essential
