We require a Bid Coordinator for our Government Client who sells their products and services to UK and other foreign Government departments.

You will be part of the Bid Management team helping the account managers to bring in a pipeline of work.

As the Bid Coordinator you will be required to produce smaller proposals and help support the Client with their progression towards a Bid Automation Tool.


This is an ideal role for an experienced Bid Coordinator; or it may suit a Bid Writer who possesses strong coordination skills.


Essential skills & experience required:

As the Bid Coordinator you will possess the following:
Bid Development & Bid Management

Stakeholder management

Planning and organising

Able to analyse, interrogate and evaluate data

Interpret professional/technical documents

Draft/author professional/technical documents

Governance

Strong ability to interpret information and develop this into customer facing text

Writing experience


Desirable Experience:
Project management experience

Knowledge of MS Word / MS Excel

Experience of having worked previously with another public sector/government Client

Experience of bid management

Experience working in a commercial environment


Responsibilities include:


As the Bid Manager you will support the Client with small bids, manage their knowledge bank and support the wider Bid Management team on larger proposals.

Manage the accuracy and relevancy of their bid knowledge bank (a repository of standard text and responses)

Deliver the role of a super-user of their new bid automation software, supporting users trainings, system improvements, and process integration

Work with Bid Managers to support the delivery of larger bids, tracking progress, chasing responses from areas of the business and taking ownership of elements of the response and solution

Work with the bid managers to support the delivery of larger or more complex bids

Support the bid managers in the bid development processes as required

On smaller opportunities take a customer's requirement and manage the resources of the organisation to produce a winning bid that is costed, reviewed, and approved

Update the Head of Bid Management on the progress of smaller opportunities assigned to the role
