SENIOR ELECTRONIC / ELECTRICAL ENGINEER
- £50,000 - £55,000

DOE, Salary competitive, based on experience

Permanent Role

Office / Lab based role

Responsibilities:

Manage projects for the development of electrical and electronic systems from concept to deployment, ensuring that the project follows appropriate processes, meets the required specifications, and is delivered within agreed cost and time constraints.
Produce detailed plans and create clearly defined documentation packs (specifications, requirements, drawings, etc.) both for the development and project output to ensure delivery of robust and cost effective solutions.
Act as a key interface with the equipment suppliers and subcontract manufacturers, ensuring that the designs and design process are adapted to these capabilities as appropriate and ensure that subcontract resources are leveraged wherever, and whenever,possible.
Manage both the technical and project delivery from external partners to ensure that they follow the appropriate development process and their designs meet the required specification.
Direct and manage the quality and quantity of output from contract design engineers.
Design, develop, and verify electrical and electronics systems.
Create and maintain the design and manufacturing specifications of new and existing electrical and electronics systems and subsystems.
Manage the documentation of all designs and related data through the Equipment Development (EDP) and Engineering Change (ECN) processes.
Create, maintain and store specifications necessary for the outsourcing of system design to external partners, and as necessary for interfacing with internal design resources.
Provide technical support to resolve quality and supply issues originating with electrical / electronic parts and, if necessary, update design and manufacturing specifications.
Collaborate with crossfunctional project team members to achieve the delivery of equipment projects.
Daytoday management, direction, and output of contract design engineers assigned.

The successful Person:

Previous experience in with Electronic / Electrical engineering is essential
Understanding of system architecture used in drink ore vending machines highly advantageous
Proven track record in designing electronic and electrical systems.
Selfmotivated selfstarter who is able to flex and adapt to work on their own and as part of a tea.
