Scrum Master
Telford (Hybrid working)
£40,000 - £58,000 depending on experience + 15% bonus, PHI & other bens
Our market-leading client is looking to secure the services of a Scrum Master. The Scrum Master is the guardian of Agile delivery involving the Software Development department.
They collaborate with the software development squad to ensure that agreed OKR's & products are delivered successfully, within the Kanban framework.
He or she works closely with the Product Owner to guarantee that the development team provides the product solution required through successful execution whilst reducing any blockages where necessary.
Key requirements for the Scrum Master role:
- Lead and serve in Scrum meetings: refinements, daily stand-ups, stakeholder meetings, dev teams retrospectives
- Oversee squad progress using JIRA Kanban boards
- Facilitate technical workshops and training sessions alongside the Product Owner
- Liaise with the Product Owner to ensure clear project deliverables
- Maintain Scrum and Kanban literature and documentation
- Empower the development team to deliver the required product solution
- Communicate progress to Business Sponsors, key Stakeholders and external clients, where appropriate remove blockers inhibiting squad progress
- Identify and manage development teams risks & issues
- Coordinate resources across the business to deliver the product
- Support the production of a clear & concise product quarterly roadmap
- Collaborate with third parties and external clients, where applicable
- Evaluate at regular iteration points lessons learnt to aid incremental improvement
Skills & experience of a Scrum Master role:
- Experience in leading or assisting in Scrum project delivery
- Leading or assisting in Agile project delivery
- User knowledge of JIRA / Scrum / Kanban
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills, including effective prioritization and execution of tasks under pressure
- Good attention to detail
- Customercentric
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to present ideas clearly and concisely
- Good analytical and problemsolving abilities
