Vehicle Refinisher/Prepper required in Newport.

Starting salary up to £2628,000 per annum with a £34,000 team performance based bonus potential.
40hours per week; Monday to Friday 8:30 to 5:00pm.
Immediate start due to work load

Our client, a franchise approved car dealership's accident repair center are currently looking to recruit a Vehicle Refinisher/Prepper to join their busy bodyshop in Newport.

Reporting to the Bodyshop Manager and working as part of a friendly team in modern facilities, your key responsibilities will include:

Work closely with the Paint Sprayers to ensure work is ready to be painted.
Undertake vehicle preparation work.
Complete polishing.
Mixing paint.
Handover to Paint Technician ensuring vehicle/part is ready for next stage.
Ensure all refinish/prep works meet internal and third parts quality standards.
Work as part of a team to ensure centre operations run efficiently and safely.

This Refinisher/Prepper role will involve prepping, priming, masking, sheeting, mixing paint, de-masking & polishing.

Overall you will have a good eye for detail, be a team player with good communication skills, have an aptitude for multi-tasking, and have a UK driving license with mínimal points.

For your hard work as a Vehicle Refinisher/Prepper our client is offering:

Starting salary up to £26-28,000 per annum dependent on your experience.
Access to a £34,000 team performance based bonus potential.
Overtime paid at standard rate but always available
Potential for further development or training into a Paint position over service.
22 days annual leave plus the 8 bank holidays.
