At UCA, we're looking for a new Assistant Director of Estates (Facilities Management) with experience and expertise in delivering hard and soft facilities management services gained within an organisation with a diverse property portfolio.

You will be an expert in the field, with an innovative approach to customer service.

You'll be accountable for management and delivery of campus operations, including maintenance, asset renewal and compliance, cleaning, catering, grounds maintenance and security among others; ensuring our campuses are safe and efficiently run to support UCA's ambitious creative arts programmes.

Our university has embarked on a Transformation initiative with a demanding programme of institutional change.


You will be a visionary who can inspire, nurture and lead your teams and ensure value for money in the procurement and delivery of hard and soft facilities management.

This is a senior role within Estates and Facilities with responsibility across our four UK campuses, therefore travel is an essential part of the role.

You will preferably be based in Farnham, however there is flexibility to consider Epsom or Canterbury as your main location, with travel to other campuses as required.

You will be expected to support the growth of the University using your industry networks.
