Description


Due to continual growth in our Service & Spare Parts offering, we are seeking a Parts & Service Administrator to join our team.


The role will also include working alongside the Aftersales & Commissioning Manager & the Commissioning Assistant to support the department as a whole during busy periods.


You must have a knowledge of Yachts and ideally some sailing experience to manage the quoting and scheduling of our winter and regular servicing to our customers, along with the sale of spare parts.


The role is based at our Hamble Point Marina office and is ideally a full-time role (37.5 hrs per week) but could be flexible to accommodate slightly reduced hours and would suit someone with a passion for boating.


You will need to be highly organised and have great verbal and written communication skills to organise and schedule both our in-house engineering team and external contractors to deliver an excellent service to our owners.

Responsibilities Include:

Service

  • Promoting our yacht services to clients, working with the marketing manager to increase business and upsell our services to new and used clients.
  • Coordinate the complete service process with a client including pricing up jobs, quoting, scheduling of 3rd party contractors, monitoring costs and ensuring jobs are invoiced out on time.
  • Inspect any works and ensure boats are handed back in a clean and tidy condition.
Parts

  • Work to help promote the sales of spare parts and equipment to our customer base
  • Deal with incoming parts enquiries with the support of the Aftersales Manager
  • Help to identify any opportunities for future spare parts sales
  • Help to setup and manage an online web shop
  • Manage stock supplies and ordering from suppliers
Other

  • Assist the Aftersales Manager team with admin of new boat warranty, chasing orders, coordinating suppliers and supporting the administration of the department.
  • Support the New Boat Commissioning Team when needed during busy periods
  • Assiting with occasional boat movements
  • Some overseas travel to trade shows/suppliers

From £25,000.00 per year
