We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic Social Work Assistant based on the 18 bedded Neuro Rehabilitation Unit (NRU).

This is a specialist Level 1 unit offering adult neurological rehabilitation for patients with complex and specific neurological conditions (stroke, acquired brain injury, long term conditions and spinal injuries) from throughout the UK.

This post is funded by the University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust


The post holder will be responsible for providing a comprehensive social work assistant service to patients and relatives who present on the Neuro Rehabilitation Unit in the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery.

This role will be directly managed by the Senior Social Work Practitioner (SSWP).
