The position is for 20 hours per week and will require a split shift of am & pm sessions. The post holder will be required to work some of the school holidays. Holiday entitlement must be taken during the school holidays.

This position is part time, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful, the salary received will be paid on a pro-rata basis. Although set hours will be allocated, some flexibility will be required to meet the needs of the school.

Essential Qualifications

Basic literacy and numeracy skills are required.

Essential Experience

Experience in a similar role
Ability to work as part of a team
Basic DIY/Repair skills such a plumbing, joinery and decorating would be beneficial to the role
Ability to manage own workload and prioritise effectively
Awareness of Health & Safety issues
Experience of COSHH and Risk Assessments

Desirable Experience

Applicants must have good practical maintenance skills in order to carry out minor repairs and general improvement of the building.
