We are recruiting two experienced and skilled Early Help Coordinator to work across Cornwall's Carrick locality area (covering the key towns and surrounding areas Truro, The Roseland, Falmouth & Penryn, Perranporth) and Penwith (covering Penzance, Hayle, St Ives and surrounding areas).

This is an exciting time to be joining our Early Help Service offer, Early Help Co-ordinators support the delivery and coordination of family support and targeted youth services from pregnancy, through the child's early years and later childhood, and into early adulthood until they reach the age of 19 (or up to 25 for young people with special offer in the Locality. educational needs and disabilities).


Early Help Co-ordinators are responsible for developing positive working relationships between professionals and services under the guidance of an Early Help Service Manager, to provide services to meet those needs before they escalate into concerns about a child's or young person's health, development, welfare or safety.


The post holder provides support, line management & case supervision to a wide range of Early Help Service practitioners, including Family and Youth Workers.

They work closely with their colleagues in specialist services to deliver seamless services to children, young people and their families, including 'step down' from statutory social work.

Applicants will need to demonstrate that they have a degree level qualification relevant to work with children and families and have management experience.

Postholders must have the ability to travel across a large rural area.
