Working Pattern: 37 hours per week, term time + 1 week (40 weeks per year), flexible working considered

Location:
Hybrid Working both remotely from home with a requirement for regular travel to our academies within East and West Sussex


We are seeking an experienced HR professional for the role of Employee Relations Advisor to support our People Partner team.

Our highly valued and friendly team support our 1200 staff based at 14 primary and secondary academies, and Professional Services between Crawley and Hastings.


Your experience of dealing with casework and up to date knowledge of employment law will be a vital asset to the team.

We are currently embarking on some exciting projects across our family of schools to support our Trusts strategic plan and are looking for additional support with our day to day work throughout this period.


Your tasks and key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing an efficient and effective, quality
- driven, customer-focussed service

  • Ensuring all advice and guidance is compliant with legislation, Trust policies and 'best practice'
  • Advising and supporting managers with organisational changes and with informal and formal employee relations casework
  • Supporting the Partner team in developing absence management practice across the Trust, coordinating process and providing effective advice to line managers
You will likely be required to travel to academy sites for approximately 1 day each week. Your principle place of work will be determined upon appointment, with consideration to your locality.
