The role
WCBS specialises in providing integrated management systems to Independent & International schools across three core areas: Admissions, MIS & Finance.
Key responsibilities:
- As part of a busy support team, you will engage in both inbound and outbound communication with our customers, providing them with support and assistance on our products.
- Through developing a deep understanding of our finance products, you will help diagnose, investigate, and resolve customer issues.
- Through regular communication, you can develop a trusting relationship with our customers, allowing you to not only resolve issues but provide advice on how they can get the best out of our products through functionality and best practice.
- By collaborating with the team and other departments to promote the sharing of knowledge and information, you can make sure the customer gets the best possible experience.
- Working alongside our Customer Account Managers, you will use your direct communications with schools to keep customer and personal records up to date.
- By meeting individual and team targets, you can contribute to the department's and ultimately the company's, continued success.
Technical requirements
You should have the following skills and experience:
- Good understanding of accounting practices
- Previous experience using accounting and/or finance software
- Good working knowledge of MS Office
- Previous work in a call centre of similar customer support role
- Previous experience of working for a software company
Person requirements
You should have the following qualities and experience:
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Great personal organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work under your own steam with mínimal supervision
- Working as part of a team to achieve team targets and goals
- An ability and willingness to absorb new aspects of technology
Working hours &location
The Support team is currently working hybridly, with a minimum of 2 days a week spent in our office in Glastonbury, and 3 days working remotely.
The Support team work on a rota system to cover different shift patterns, allowing us to support both our UK and international customers.
UK operating hours:
- Early shift = 8am to 4.30pm
- Late shift = 9.30am to 6pm
- Night shift = 5am to 1pm
- Sundays shift = 6am to 2pm
