As a key player in our Corporate Services team, your responsibilities include ensuring high-quality product delivery for GEMA (Ofgem's Board), and its sub-committees, coordinating a Corporate Services' strategic plan for 2024/25, and managing interrelated workstreams.

You oversee the development of the Corporate Services Annual Report, draft communications, and support COO engagement activities. Establishing governance for projects and programmes, you collaborate with the COO and portfolio leads for effective planning and reporting.


Your role involves resource management, accurate reporting, and active engagement with the Project Management and Delivery network for continuous improvement.

Essential criteria include behaviours such as delivering at pace, effective communication and influencing, collaborative teamwork, and managing a quality service.

Job description:


Key Responsibilities

  • Effective delivery of the overall PMO function/operation and establishing and supporting high quality governance for projects and programmes.
  • Working with team and project leads to establish and maintain uptodate plans, identifying and managing milestones, dependencies, and resource needs across the Directorate.
  • Deliver accurate and timely reporting for senior colleagues, programme SROs and decision makers.
  • Establishing resourcing requirements and securing necessary resources.
  • Ensure effective risk management and assurance processes are in place, and a drumbeat for the regular review of risk across the Directorate.
  • As part of the SLT for Markets Change and Delivery work with PMO and Change colleagues to deliver initiatives across the Markets Group.
  • Lead on governance and reporting across Markets.
  • Actively engage with the wider Project Management and Delivery professional network to ensure sharing of best practice, building of capability, and promote continuous improvement.

As a Personal Development Lead, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
