About us
Ashfields Care Home is a small business in Heanor.

We are professional, rewarding, and our goal is to Maintain high standards within our 76 bedded Care Home rated outstanding by CQC.

The Maintenance Person will provide quality service in a timely manner to all Residents, staff and visitors and is responsive to concerns identified by customers and management.

The Person will diagnose mechanical problems and install or replace parts according to the manufacturer's specifications.

The Maintenance Person will undertake and record a number of safety checks, bringing any items of concern to the Home Manager.

Undertake gardening, decorating and keep the presentaion of the home to a high standard.

Will undertake emergency call outs out of workin, respond to customer requests, track

Perform any other tasks assigned by the Manager.

Responsibilities:

Fix defective office equipment.
Maintain the equipment in proper working order.
Maintain records.
Be engaged with other companies for preventative maintenance and repairs.
Follow the manufacturer's directions for cleaning and disinfecting the equipment.
Follow safety procedures when handling chemicals or cleaning equipment.
