Reed Finance are delighted to be partnering with a global energy business within the oil & gas sector to recruit for them their next Senior Treasury Operations professionals to join their finance team.
This Senior Treasury opportunity is a fantastic role for someone who wants to get into the energy/oil & gas industry and is happy with working in a hands-on role.
This role will report to the Treasury Manager with an emphasis on trading within a varietyof asset whilst managing bank relationships and accounts.
There will be opportunities to further develop your skills in Treasury and Finance as you grow into the role.This role offers a salary of between £45,000-£55,000 per annum with hybrid working and some great benefits.
Day to Day responsibilities:
- Assisting the treasury manager with the daily tasks required in a corporate treasury function.
- Responsible for generating payments, issuing/posting invoices on the inhouse trading system, and will be required to liaise with other departments and subsidiaries.
- You will be responsible for cash flow forecasting, as well as various reporting.
Required Qualifications and Experience for this Treasury role:
- Ideally be a qualified Accountant either ACA/ACCA/CIMA or ACT qualified or QBE
- At least 2 years within a treasury/finance department
- Ideally be from a banking, commodity or trade finance background
- Have accounting knowledge/qualifications
- Knowledge of Letters of Credit/Guarantees and Inventors
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with KYC and Compliance would be a bonus
- French Speaking is also advantageous
