MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Reporting to the Head of IT Service Delivery, this technical role will play a pivotal part in ensuring the stability and efficient operation of the council's Cloud infrastructure.

This person will have the opportunity to undertake complex technical workin both a BAU and project capacity.

Working as part of a team, you will be responsible for dealing with day to day incidents, service requests and queries as well as with other council colleagues on new projects as a technical resource.

This role undertakes significant and complex technical work on the council's infrastructure and systems.

This will either be in support of operational requirements or in the implementation of new projects and technologies including:
design, develop, test,deployment and ensuring project work is delivered in a timely fashion.
