Access Events is a young small event branding & production company aspiring to grow internationally as major player in the events industry.

Responsibilities:
- Company bookkeeping & related administration, including bank payments on behalf of MD
- Weekly cashflow reports
- Business management account reports
- Supervision of technicians' certificates validation & expiry dates
- Check & validate subcontractor's invoices. Ensure corrections are made & invoices resubmitted when required
- Manage all utility bills, direct debits & source cost effective options
- Prepare VAT returns data for accountant & tax returns (ensuring maximum reduction in VAT submission)
- Draft sales invoices for approval, followed by submission of approved invoices to the clients
- Processing & renewal of company certificates & subscriptions (Carbon Trust, Insurance, Achilles, etc.)
- Supporting MD with tender processes
- Check invoices from suppliers and contractors
- Validate payments on Xero including bank reconciliations
- Raise & send remittance advice from Xero for all payments of invoices
- Make bank payments on Wednesday and Friday
- Make the list of debt collection along with the sales team & chase up overdue invoices
- Preparing invoices (to be validated by MD)
- International invoicing, Customs & export taxes
- Manage the office accounts for Mobile phones & BT
- Evaluate & refine financial systems where necessary or preferable
- Carry out office administration tasks
Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent, Temp to perm
Salary:
£12.00-£15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
Schedule:
- Flexitime
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
Supplemental pay types:
- Performance bonus
- Signing bonus
Ability to commute/relocate:
- London: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- Accounting: 2 years (required)
- Bookkeeping: 3 years (required)
- Xero: 2 years (required)
