We are now recruiting for a Maintenance Assistant to join the team here at Forest Park.

The Park covers 100 acres and has a number of outlets on site, inclusive of Foresters Club, Cafe, On site shop, indoor heated pool.

In addition to over 400 static holiday homes the Park boasts 170 pitches, which range from standard nonelectric to those with hard standing, electricity, water supply and main drainage.

Responsibilities and Duties

You will be completing jobs as set out by management to a high standard, covering both reactive and planned work inclusive of repairs, upkeep, safety checks and expansion to ensure the smooth running of the Company.

Undertaking responsive work on a rota on-call basis including weekends and bank holidays.

Providing an, efficient, courteous, and flexible customer service.

The successful applicant will be responsible for:
Carry out repairs on site / in venues, chalets and caravans in line with instructions from Maintenance

Carry out repairs and restructure drains / groundwork / buildings

Carry out repairs to equipment in accommodation units/caravans in line with job requests and to the agreed operating standards

To deliver gas bottles as and when requested by the office/ General Manager.

Provide support to other departments where applicable

Complying with all Company and legal policies and procedures

Assist with moving and siting of caravan and lodges

Qualifications and Skills

Attention to detail and strong customer facing and customer service skills are key in this role as is the ability to take initiative and work efficiently prioritising an evolving workload.

Practical experience of working in a maintenance team (essential)

Relevant Health and Safety qualifications (desirable)

Excellent communication skills

A flexible approach

An ability to work/remain calm under pressure

£10.00 /hour

Maintenance: 1 year (preferred)

Salary:
£10.45 per hour
