We currently have an opening for a
Human Resources Generalist, which we are hoping to hire in the UK (Alcester) or in the Netherlands (Rotterdam), supporting teams in the EMEA and APAC regions.

You must, however, be fluent in both English and Dutch.


This is a hybrid role where you will be expected to work a minimum of 2 days per week in the office.

Flexible hours will also be required to support a global team.


About the Opportunity:


As a member of a small, but high-performing global Human Resources team, and reporting directly to the Vice President, Human Resources, you will be responsible for providing support in all areas of human resources including: recruitment and onboarding; employee engagement; performance management; leadership support; training and development; compensation and benefits; policy and program design; data and analytics; and HR administration.


In this role, you will be expected to:

  • Provide advice, guidance, support and coaching to designated client groups;
  • Provide support for managers around leadership best practices and performance management;
  • Identify issues, challenges and opportunities, recommending actions to enhance employee engagement and promote a unified company experience;
  • Work with the VP, HR to identify, develop and deliver training programs;
  • Manage the endtoend recruitment and onboarding process, collaborating with hiring managers on the recruitment, selection and introduction of new employees;
  • Manage various elements of employee offboarding;
  • Administer and execute various elements of compensation and total rewards policies;
  • Provide support for the selection and administration of benefit policies and programs;
  • Support the development and continuous improvement of HR systems, forms, policies and procedures;
  • Develop and maintain employee handbooks (global and regional), ensuring compliance with applicable legislation;
  • Participate in department projects and initiatives;
  • Partner with designated client groups to ensure that all HR projects and initiatives are appropriately communicated and implemented;
  • Produce metrics and reports from various HR databases;
  • Create content for various internal and external communications;
  • Participate in employee groups related to social activities, employee engagement and Corporate Social Responsibility.

About You:


  • You have a minimum of 5 years of progressive, generalized experience in Human Resources;
  • You have a diploma or degree in Human Resources, or a related field;
  • You like to collaborate with others in the development of solutions that align to business strategies;
  • You can influence others to achieve business results;
  • You can handle multiple tasks and projects, prioritizing these effectively;
  • You are a selfstarter with excellent organizational skills, time management skills and attention to detail;
  • You have excellent communication and presentation skills;
  • You have a proactive approach to problem solving;
  • You have experience working with HR systems and data management;
  • You possess emotional maturity and judgement to handle sensitive information with integrity, diplomacy and tact;
  • You have exceptional customer service skills and a demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with employees at all levels in an organization;
  • You are willing to work flexible hours to accommodate time zone differences;
  • You are fluent in English and Dutch.
  • Global experience and/or an understanding of employment laws in various countries would be an asset.
