Our Client are a leading electronic manufacturing business based in the North East of England. The company currently require a talented Quality Lead to join the business (Contract Position).


Key Responsibilities:


  • To lead the ability to maintain ISO accreditation and improve quality management system performance.
  • To lead and assist in reducing supplier quality problems.
  • To lead and assist with shop floor quality problems.
  • To help develop and implement good fit processes in a full alignment with the overall company quality objectives and initiatives.

Skills Required:


  • Be a highly motivated team player.
  • Have a good understanding of quality focused high technology, high complexity manufacture of multidisciplinary equipment.
  • Have experience in a quality background
  • Quality engineer (advantage)
  • Production engineering knowledge would be a good skill
  • Have excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Auditing background
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to understand technical information accurately.
  • Computer literate with Microsoft software packages; Word, Excel, Visio, Powerpoint
  • Ability to manage cross department quality improvement initiatives (improvement teams)

Salary:


  • Competitive salary offered plus a comprehensive benefits package.
  • 6 month contract.
