Gas Maintenance Engineer

We Build Recruitment are currently looking for a Gas Maintenance Engineer to start a Permanent role for one of our clients based in Manchester.

The client is looking to recruit a new multi-skilled Gas Maintenance Engineer to join an existing team of Engineers. The company provides commercial fit out, re-active emergency repairs and planned maintenance across the North-West. This exciting opportunityhas been created by current workload and planned future business growth.

Responsibilities of the Gas Engineer include:

Working in predominantly commercial buildings undertaking annual gas servicing and safety checks following manufacturer's instructions.
Completing associated repairs.
Identifying any repairs and installations required.
New Installations on site through project work.
Working closely with clients, demonstrating a high level of customer care.
Working closely with the maintenance team to react to reactive call outs and planned maintenance jobs.
Utilising a PDA to report on jobs. Submitting accurate paperwork to be sent to clients and to be used to quote for further works.
Carry out general PPM's.
Site based gas installations for commercial fit out works.
