The Hull Flooring Company has a vacancy for a Contracts Administrator on a full-time permanent basis, working 40 hours, Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm, with a half hour unpaid lunch break.
To work at our office in Hull to provide administrative support to Contracts Managers and installation teams working throughout the UK.
The postholder will be highly organised and work well under pressure, with a passion to learn and implement solutions to ensure smooth completion of projects.
Confidently utilising key skills such as effective professional communication, processing of documents accurately and in a timely manner, and demonstrate the ability to manage and prioritise the workload along with the team.
Attention to detail, strong IT and numeracy skills are required to ensure correct interpretation of information provided by clients from the tender stage through to supporting resolutions for the challenges faced during installations.
Previous administration experience in a construction trade is desirable, but would consider applicants with other administration experience who would develop skills through further training.
Duties include:
- Support sourcing of resources for sites, including booking accommodation
- Use of IT for production of drawings, updating records and producing documents
- Distribution of communication, including printing and recording of documents, collating relevant data to produce a quotation
- Develop skills to quantify areas for tender summaries and quantify materials for ordering materials from suppliers
- Receive deliveries following systems for checking delivery is correct and preparing goods for dispatch of goods to site
- General clerical work
