Salary:
£45,657+ (dependent on skills and experience)
What you'll be doing:
- Conducting formal 2nd Line reviews of activities, processes, products, or services to ensure 1st Line evidence is correct and appropriate compliance rating has been stated
- Providing reports on progress, anomalies, risks, and issues associated with the overall 2nd Line assurance activities
- Ensuring conformance to Legislation and other company or supplier changes
- Continually seeking good practices approaches and opportunities for productivity improvement
- Supporting the IT Assurance Leads with providing advice to the Air Sector
- Maintaining central assurance plans to ensure activities are planned and communicated to the Air Sector
- Ensuring agreed remediation activities are tracked and monitored through to completion
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
- Experience of working in an IT Function and familiarity with IT trends and good practice
- 2nd Line Assurance in the 3 Lines Assurance Model
- Demonstrable knowledge of policies, processes, procedures, standards, and frameworks
Desirable:
- Understanding of information management requirements i.e. how documents are stored, created, deleted and ownership

The IT Assurance team:
The team is responsible for completing independent 2nd Line Assurance across the whole Sector for our Digital, Data and Cyber standards
Working with the Digital Systems Assurance and Compliance Leads you will develop an assurance plan for your designated area of the business and ensure that the control deficiencies are highlighted
This is a key role within the business to ensure that we are safely and securing managing our IT environment, enabling the delivery of our Programmes and Services
