The BMJ are looking for a Digital Advertising Operations Executive, to work alongside the Digital Advertising Operations Manager, delivering campaigns across BMJ's portfolio of medical journals.

The Ad Operations Executive will support/contribute to the post-sale implementation of ad campaigns across various platforms (desktop, mobile, and smart devices) and supply channels (programmatic), including in-house marketing campaigns.


Responsibilities:


  • Traffic, QA, and monitor advertising campaigns running across the BMJ portfolio of journals and reconcile impression delivery.
  • Identify, analyse, and troubleshoot any creative or adserving issues which impact delivery, 3rd party tracking and reporting.
  • Collaborate with the Digital Ad Operations Manager on campaign optimisation recommendations, using an understanding of advertiser goals.
  • Liaise with creative agencies to obtain collateral for advertising campaigns, and troubleshoot any technical issues that arise with this collateral

Qualifications:

  • Digital advertising operations experience in the publisher side of digital products
  • Experience using ad serving technology
  • Google Ad Manager, large amount of experience is a must
  • Knowledge of 3rd party ad tags/technologies i.e DoubleVerify, IAS
  • Ability to master new technologies and platforms
  • Experience in tracking and reporting of campaign performance to ensure they are being delivered effectively on time, and to quality standards to ensure clients are happy and remain spending their ad revenue with the BMJ
  • Knowledge of basic HTML, CSS and Javascript would be advantageous
  • Excellent oral and written communication
