Description

Our client, one of the UK's largest independently-owned logistics companies, urgently requires a Night Shift Team Leader to work at its purpose-built operations hub in Sharpness.

This role will become permanent following a successful trial period. Due to the location, you will need to have access to your own transport.


The Role:

This is a hands-on role working as the Team Leader in a busy logistics warehouse on a night shift
- managing a team of warehouse operatives to load/unload vehicles
- organising labour to ensure sufficient staff are available to meet schedules
- updating company systems accurately and efficiently
- ensuring that all Health & Safety policies are complied with, including general housekeeping duties


Requirements:

- a current FLT (Counterbalance) ticket is essential
- previous experience of leading/supervising a team in a warehouse environment is desirable


Working Hours & Rate of Pay:

  • Sunday to Thursday
- £12.00 per hour
